Electric vehicle are widely developed because of the scarcity of oil and the pollution of common vehicle.In order to facilitate the development of electric vehicle,it's necessary to develop a remote monitoring system for electric vehicle.The remote monitoring center can monitor the state data of electric vehicle and also can send commands to electric vehicle to modify some parameters of electric vehicle in order to optimize electric vehicle.With the rapid development of communication technology,GPRS wireless network with the Internet has been linked and become a resource of sustainable use and development.The embedded system because of low consumption arid strong performance characteristics that is widely used in telecommunications,industrial control and other areas.In this paper the GPRS wireless data terminal was designed and realized to use the embedded system and the GPRS network.This terminal takes the $3C2440 microprocessor as a center,through driving GPRS module of communication,connecting to the Internet by GPRS wireless network,achieving data transmission.the key research topics and issues are as follows:1、The design of embedded wireless transmission system for Electric vehicle.2、The design of hardware for GPRS wireless transmission system circuit,including the design of core circuit board and the design and implementation of GPRS transmission circuit.3、Construction of vehicle platform embedded systems:the structure of embedded Linux system is mentioned,including the establishment of cross-development environment,the transplant and achievement of Bootloader vivi,the reduction and transplant of Linux kernel,the creation of file system.4、Have a research in GPRS communication technology and the application of data transmission for the electric vehicle:study the characteristics of GPRS communication technology and give the system framework and software for GPRS wireless transmission system.
